Ingredients
- 1 cup Cornmeal
- 1 cup All purpose flour
- 0.25 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon Baking powder
- 0.5 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- 0.33 cup Melted butter
- 1 each Egg
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400F (200C0. Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and egg.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the greased baking pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
